SVF = Stroma Vascular Fraction

The indicated fold variations were measured in the cDNA microarray experiments.

* Using RTqPCR, the change in expression of these genes was confirmed in 10 independent obese and non obese subjects. We also measured a significant change of fibronectin gene expression level (fold increase in obese/lean subjects: 3.9, p<0.05).
** Using RTqPCR, the change in expression of these genes was also confirmed in 6 independent samples of human WAT where mature adipocytes and SVF fractions were separated by enzymatic digestion.
